Description

Tuscany, Agriturismo Casa San Giovanni lies the southern part of Tuscany near the picturesque village of Cetona,also known as one of the most beautiful villages of Tuscany. Close on the border with Umbria. The Farmhouse dates back from 1800, and is locatted at the foot of Monte Cetona, in an oasis of calm.

At the Agriturismo also lives the owner Giovanni with his wife, they are very hospitable, but respect your privacy. Giovanni is often working the fruit trees such as plum and fig trees, or in his vegetable garden where tomatoes, lettuce, peppers and other vegetables grow. The guests are free to pick and use from the garden.

Casa San Giovanni is divided into three apartments: on the first floor is situated La Rosa, 110 m2, for 6 / 7 persons with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One ground floor are located Margherita 2-3 persons, 1 bedroom with the possibility of an extra bed, and Glicine 2 to 4 persons with one bedroom and sofabed.
The apartments are tastefully furnished and equipped with authentic details such as wooden beams and terracotta floors. Each apartment has its own terrace.

In the garden, in a panoramic position, lies the spacious swimming pool 12 x 6, for common use, surrounded by sun loungers and parasols. The pool is open from early May till late September (or longer if the weather permits).

The apartments:
La Rosa 110 sqm 1st floor, 6 / 7 persons
Via an external staircase and loggia you enter the spacious living room with large fireplace, table and chairs, armchairs, satellite TV. Kitchencorner equipped with 4-burner stove, oven, fridge and dishwasher. Three bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and en suite bathroom, a bedroom with two single beds and one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. Two bedrooms share a bathroom.

Margherita 45m2, ground floor, 2 + 1 persons
Kitchen with table and chairs, armchairs, satellite TV, kitchenette with 4-burner stove, oven, fridge. Bedroom with doubel bed (on request an extra bed be put in), bathroom with shower and toilet. Terrace.

Glicine, 65m2, ground floor 2 + 2 people
Large kitchen/living room with fireplace, table and chairs, (bed) sofa (for 2 additional people.) Satellite TV, kitchencorner with 4-burner stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. A couple of steps to the bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. Pergola terrace.

Barbecue for common use, washing machine for communal use

The Farmhouse
The owner Giovanni with his wife live on the estate in a seperate house. They are hospitable, but respect your privacy. Giovanni often worsk on the grounds for example with fruit trees, plum and fig trees, or he is working in his vegetable garden where tomatoes, lettuce, peppers and other vegetables grow. Guests are free to use from the garden. At the estate there are many "cantinas" the cellars where the products are harvested and stored. There is a Cantina where hams are hung to dry, a Cantina for the wine and vinsanto and Cantina for the olive oil. All these products are for sale.
