Il Terrazzo is a nice detached cottage, 65m2, on a winde estate for 4 persons, 2 bedrooms, with possibility to extend to 7 persons by using an extra bedroom in the main house. Beautiful located, on a wine farm in the Tuscan hills, surrounded by vineyards and near the medival town of San Gimignano.
The cottage has two bedrooms in the house of the owner, just opposite, there is a 3rd bedroom with bathroom with private entrance. his room is let separately but can also be rented along with Terrazzo, so you can stay here with up to 7 people.
The pool, 16 x 5 max depth 2 meters, is located on a panoramic position, next to Il Terrazzo and the owners house. The pool is surrounded by sun loungers and parasols and shared with the owners and guests of the 3-person room (if rented).
The young, welcoming, owners run the winery and are engaged in the production of wine, Vernaccia white, red Chianti and of olive oil, which can be bought on the spot.
Surroundings
The winery is situated at a local road with very little traffic. It is an excellent place to discover Tuscany. San Gimignano is an easy drive away and so are the picturesque towns in the area. Certaldo with shops and a station is 4 km away, the medieval town of San Gimignano 8 km, Poggibonsi (the entrance to the highway to Florence and Siena) at 15 km, Siena is 25 km and Florence 50 km away. Excellent restaurant 1.5 km.

Entrance with kitchen table and chairs, four-burner stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave. A few steps to the living room with sofa and armchairs. Two bedrooms, one with a doublre bed and one with two single beds. Bathroom with shower and toilet. All windows have fly-screens. In front of the cottage there is a patio terrace, on the side of the house is also a beautful spot to sit and enjoy the views of the vineyards.
The room for 3 persons is located on the first floor at the rear of the house of the owner, just opposite of the cottage and has a private entrance. Bedroom 2 with double bed and one single bed. Refrigerator, TV. Bathroom with shower and toilet.
