Il Fattoria, winefarm, 7 apts. and 2 cottages

Description

Tuscany, San Gimignano. This renovated winery, producer of Vernaccia and Chianti wine as well as Olive oil, has 5 comfortable apartments for 2 - 4 people along with two cottages for 4 - 6 persons. Only 5 km to San Gimignano and yet in a quiet location, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. From the house and from the nice pool, 14 x 7, there is a magnificent view on the medieval San Gimignano, "Città delle Belle Torri", the city of the beautiful towers.

In the Villa are located the apartments for 2+1 or 2+2 persons, three on the ground floor and two on the first floor. On either side of the Villa are the two detached houses, one for 4 / 5 and the other for 5 / 6 people, all described below.

The interior of the apartments and cottages is stylish and comfortable with cental heating, satellite TV, kitchen with dishwasher. (except from apt. Girasole) .Each apartments has it's own, private,  terrace. The cottages Glicine and Iris have air conditioning.
Shared: swimming pool, washing machine, barbecue and mountain bikes. Free Wifi

The apartments
Mimosa, ground floor, 2-3 persons, 37m2
Living room with open kitchen and large wooden doors giving direct access to the terrace. Kitchen, 4-ring hob, microwave with grill, refrigerator, dishwasher, table and chairs, living area with comfortable sofabed (for an extra persoon). Bedroom  with double bed, bathroom, shower and toilet.

Girasole, ground floor, 2-3 persons, 35m2
Living room  with doors opening onto the terrace, kitchenette with 4-burner stove, refrigerator. sofabed (extra person), table and chairs,  Bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet. Terrace for the entrance.

Edera, ground floor, 2-3 persons, 40m2
Living room with sofa bed (for an extra person), table and chairs, kitchenette with 4-ring hob, microwave with grill, refrigerator and dishwasher. Bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet. Pergola patio

First floor
Viola, 2 + 2 persons, 1st floor, 60m2
Attractive apartment, all rooms have a beautiful olive wooden floors. Spacious living room (bed) sofa (for 2 extra people), table and chairs, separate kitchen with 4-burner stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. Bedroom with a double bed, possibility for a cot (up to 4 years). Bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. Small balcony overlooking the beautiful Tuscan countryside

Camelia, 2+2 persons, 1st floor, 70 m2
This spacious apartment has olive wood flooring. From the living room access to the large loggia, furnished with table and chairs with a magnificent view on the towers of San Gimignano. Living room with sofabed (for 2 extra people) 2 armchairs, TV. Ensuite kitchen with table and chairs, four-burner stove, refrigerator, dishwasher. Bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet.

Cottages
Iris, 4+2 persons, ground floor, 64 m2, air conditioning, satellite TV, central heating
This barn has been beautifully converted into an attractive and especially light house located approximately 20 meters from the villa. The spacious lounge has 2 sofa beds (2 additional persons) doors opening on to the terrace furnished with sun umbrella, table and chairs. Living room with ensuite kitchen with dining table and chairs, four-burner stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. Bedroom with double bed and bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. Airco.

Glicine, detached, 5+2 persons, 69 m2, ground floor, air conditioning, central heating, satellite TV. Glicine is the largest of the Fattoria with 3 bedrooms for 6 persons, if necessary, an additional person an sleep on the sofa in the living room. Living / dining room with beamed ceiling and two sofa's of which one is a sofabed. Kitchenette with 4-burner stove, refrigerator and dishwasher, table and chairs. Two bedrooms with double bed, the third bedroom is small and has a 1 persons bed and a pull out bed. Bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. Private terrace with pergola with table and chairs.

Location
The location of the Fattoria is very nice, surrounded by vineyards and still only 5 km away from the lively town of San Gimignano with its many shops, cafes and restaurants. It is possible to walk to San Gimignano via a footpath, there is also an excellent restaurant within walking distance. The beautiful art cities, Florence and Siena and the Chianti hills are easily accessible, and the Tuscan coast at about one hours drive away.
