The Borgo is located in the heart of Chianti, where the famous Chianti wine is produced and near the village of San Donato, 25 km south of Florence. The location is on top of a mountain overlooking the valley of the Pesa and the surrounding hills. Ideally situated for visiting the beautiful Tuscan cities like Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. The attractive Chianti towns such as Greve, Radda and Castellina are also definitely worth visiting.
The Borgo consists of two buildings with a total of 10 apartments, described below. The apartments range in size from 2 to 6 people and are located on the ground- and first floor. Each apartment has a satellite TV, an equipped kitchen and private terrace. There is a communal pool with sun loungers and parasols, there is a large sun terrace with a beautiful view.
Near the pool is a building for common use, with table tennis, tabelsoccer, TV with DVD player. There is a communual outdoor terrace and barbecue. For the kids there is a playground with a swing and a small slide.
Just across the street is a small bar and a beautiful church dating from the first millennium.
the apartments
The apartments are more or less identically furnished in Tuscan style with terracotta floors and beamed ceilings. In every room there is a ceiling fan and every apartment has a private terrace with table and chairs and sumumbrella.

Cars can be parked on the lower, parkingplace at the Borgo at about 100 meters from the apartments. The nearest shops are in San Donato on 3 km away, here are also several excellent restaurants.

Rental is at least 5 days in high season, off season at least 3 days. You can of course much longer, there is plenty to see! Arrival and departure is flexible and is not from Saturday to Saturday, you can arrive every day of the week, very attractive to those looking for a low budget flight, to Pisa, Florence or Rome.
