Umbria. Casa Carmen is an apartment situated in an typical Umbrian countryhouse. It sets on a flat position within a nice farm at about 8 km away from the medieval town of Bevagna. The countryhouse has one apartment on the first floor, while the ground floor is reserved to the owner; who uses it as storage. The apartment is on one side it is surrounded by a very nice vineyard where Sagrantino wine is produced; on the other side there is an olive grove.
The house where the owner live is a few meters away, opposite the apartment. Next to the owners house and in a quiet position is the very panoramic swimming-pool (14mx7m) overlooking the vineyard and Assisi town on the background.
The apartment:
40 sqm, 4 persons. via an iron straicase, 16 steps, you reach the terrace which is partly coverd and the entrance to the apartment. Living room with sofa, table and chiars, kitchen area with hob and fridge. Bedroom with a double bed and bedroom with two singel beds. Bathroom with basin, shower and toilet. The windows have fly curtians. The outside terrace is partly covered and has table and chairs.
From Assisi-S.Maria degli Angeli railway station it is possible to reach by train Rome and Florence in a 2 hours journey.
The apartment has simple furniture and there are mosquito nets in all the windows.
At guests’ disposal: garden furniture, table tennis, ironing facilities and a cot.
